Pace Environmental Testing Laboratory in Beaver, WV is seeking a Scientist I to join our team. You will perform and oversee projects analyzing air, water and soil samples, maintain instruments, and keep precise lab records.

This role requires a chemistry/biochemistry degree and the ability to work in a PPE-equipped lab setting. The position offers a $15.00 per hour compensation with full-time benefits including comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) with company match, tuition

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/ Biochemistry or related field.
• Willingness to work in a lab with PPE and stand long periods.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and support the analysis, administration and oversight of air, water and soil samples using standard chemistry/ biochemistry policies, programs, and practices
• Clean, maintain and calibrate instruments
• Maintain detailed and organized documentation on all laboratory work
