Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services is seeking a Scientist I to join our environmental testing laboratory. In this role you will perform hands-on analysis with instruments such as GC, HPLC and ICP to help ensure the quality and integrity of environmental data that protect communities and ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or STEM field.
• Willing to undergo training provided by Pace.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on analysis with GC, HPLC, ICP and other instruments.
• Analyze air, water, and soil samples using established methods.
• Review and interpret results from sample analysis.
• Document procedures, observations and results clearly in lab records.
• Clean, maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments.
