Job summary

Pace Analytical Services is seeking a Scientist to join our environmental science team in a hands-on laboratory role. You will work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM, analyzing air, water, and soil samples using established methods and maintaining accurate lab records.

The ideal candidate holds a STEM degree and can work around typical lab odors, standing, and PPE requirements. Pace emphasizes safe, accurate data to protect communities and the environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related STEM field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work in a lab environment, standing, odors, PPE provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate instruments to analyze air, water, and soil samples.
• Review and interpret analysis results.
• Document procedures, observations, and results.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate lab instruments.
