Job summary

Pace Analytical Services is seeking a Scientist to join our environmental lab team. You will work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM, analyzing air, water, and soil samples and interpreting results to support safer, healthier communities.

You will document procedures and maintain equipment with support training available. A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related STEM field is required, and commitment to safety and accuracy is essential for contributing to Pace’s mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or STEM field; training provided.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment, including standing for extended periods, handling odors, and using PPE provided by Pace.
• Curiosity and drive to contribute to environmental science.

Responsibilities

• Analyze air, water, and soil samples with instruments for contaminants.
• Review and interpret analysis results.
• Document procedures, observations, and results to maintain lab records.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments.
