Job summary

Join Pace® Analytical Services in Hazelwood, MO as a Scientist in our environmental testing laboratory. You’ll perform, support, and oversee the analysis of air, water, and soil samples using established chemistry and biochemistry methods, and ensure accurate documentation.

We require a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other STEM field; training is provided. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional weekends, and a compensation of $18 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other STEM related degrees. Training is provided.
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment, including standing for extended periods, wearing PPE.
• We are happy to provide training and support for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities

• Perform, support, and oversee the analysis of air, water, and soil samples using established chemistry and biochemistry methods.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Accurately document procedures, observations, and results to maintain high-quality laboratory records.
