Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, environmental science, environmental engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of laboratory experience using EPA-approved methodologies and instrumentation (GC-FID / GC-ECD / GC/MS).
• Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship is required per federal contract.
• Ability to pass an EPA background check to access federal property.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze samples using GC-FID, GC-ECD and GC-MS to identify contaminants.
• Work in a team environment complying with EPA methods and QA standards.
