Job summary

Sunshine Enterprise USA seeks an Environmental Analyst to join the Central Laboratory in Florida. You will perform chemical and microbiological analyses of water, wastewater, soil, and other matrices, ensuring QA/QC compliance and accurate data entry in LIMS.

Daily communication with managers and clients is expected. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field and may value 1 year of lab experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or a related field.
• 1 year of environmental lab experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical and microbiological sample analysis and document findings in LIMS for data management.
• Analyze water, wastewater, soil, sludge for total and fecal coliforms and E. coli.
• Communicate with managers, project coordinators and clients daily.
• Conduct gravimetric analysis for Total Solids, Total Dissolved Solids, and Total Suspended Solids.
• Perform Wet Chemistry analyses (pH, Turbidity, Alkalinity, CBOD/BOD, nutrients).
• Ensure QA/QC standards are met for assigned analyses.
• Operate routine maintenance on Auto Analyzer, BOD analyzers, spectrophotometers, GC, AAS, HPLC.
• Ensure analytical results meet regulatory requirements for water testing.
• Participate in internal QA/QC audits.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
