Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking an Analyst I to prepare and analyze environmental samples using EPA methods. You will work under supervision, gaining experience with GC, GC-MS, AA, and ICP while following QA programs.

Responsibilities include routine lab tasks, data recording, and reporting; adherence to safety and QA standards; and general housekeeping to maintain a compliant lab.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in chemistry or related field; 3 years laboratory experience may substitute for degree.
• Laboratory experience is a plus.
• Previous production-oriented work helpful (awareness and ability to meet deadlines).

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples using standard techniques and record data.
• Perform chemical analysis using standard methods.
• Maintain instrument performance and safety standards.
• Washes glassware and handles aliquots per SOPs.
• Comply with GMP/GLP and EH&S requirements.
