Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) in Irmo, SC is seeking an Analyst I to prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard analytical techniques in accordance with EPA methodologies.

The role requires adherence to QA/EHS standards, routine lab tasks, and proficiency with instruments such as GC, GC/MS, AAS, and ICP under close supervision. This is a full-time, first-shift position; local candidates encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in chemistry or related field; 3 years laboratory experience may substitute for degree.
• Laboratory experience is a plus
• Previous production-oriented work helpful (awareness and ability to meet deadlines)

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples using standard techniques.
• Perform chemical analysis using standard techniques.
• Calculate data.
• Record and report data and any unusual test occurrences to the supervisor.
• Perform routine instrument maintenance.
• Comply with Eurofins’ EHS and QA standards.
• Maintain general housekeeping in the work area.
• Be trained and competent on GC, GC/MS, AAS, ICP and related data systems.
