An established consulting firm in Jacksonville, FL seeks an Environmental Junior Biologist to support DoD/Military Sector clients. The role includes environmental investigations, data collection, and compliance activities. Candidates should have a BS/BA degree and at least 3 years of experience. Excellent communication skills and OSHA knowledge are required for this full-time position.

Qualifications

• Must be certified to work at environmental, Hazardous Toxic and Radioactive Waste sites.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in environmental services.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental investigations related to remediation.
• Conduct geotechnical investigations including soil and groundwater sampling.
• Provide administrative support for environmental compliance and remediation.

Skills

Knowledge of OSHA Regulations

Data collection and analysis

Excellent communication skills

Comfortable working with heavy equipment

Education

BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university
