Job summary

WSP is seeking a Sr. Environmental Engineer for our Jacksonville, FL, Baymeadows Road office.

You will support the Earth & Environment Team, performing environmental due diligence, site assessment, monitoring, and remediation projects with a focus on timely, accurate reporting and client interaction. Responsibilities include data collection, remediation design, field supervision, and preparing concise technical reports while coordinating with clients and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of post-education environmental engineering experience.
• Experience evaluating and designing modified active gas sampling and SVE systems.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Project management experience meeting budgets and schedules.
• Clear communication with engineers and non-engineers.
• Uphold safety policies and codes of conduct.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental assessment activities across samples and contaminants.
• Design soil and groundwater remediation plans using various tech.
• Oversee field activities and manage subcontractors.
• Prepare data visualizations and technical reports.
• Coordinate with clients and regulators professionally.
• Adhere to safety policies and company conduct.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
