Job summary

JBW Federal is seeking an environmental professional to support groundwater remediation, site investigations, and CERCLA projects. You will review regulatory documents, manage meetings, and coordinate with regulators, clients, and contractors.

The ideal candidate has a 4-year degree in environmental sciences or engineering and 5+ years in environmental restoration programs, with OSHA HAZWOPER training preferred.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in environmental sciences, environmental management, or engineering.
• 5 years of experience in managing and/or supporting an environmental restoration program.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training with current 8-hour refresher preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical review of CERCLA remediation project documents and facilitate comment resolution; oversee delivery and distribution.
• Provide technical support for environmental due diligence documents (ECP, FOST, CRUP) and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve comments.
• Manage internal meetings and regulatory agency meetings; develop meeting agendas and summaries; track action items.
• Coordinate community relations activities with client and outreach office; prepare communications and respond to public comments.
• Align work activities with related project aspects and participate in assigned tasks.

Education

Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences or engineering

Master's degree (preferred)
