Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking motivated Environmental Interns for Summer 2027 in our Jackson, WY office. This paid internship runs June through August 2027, with potential to transition into a full-time role after graduation.

Interns will work under project managers and team leaders alongside engineers, scientists, and technologists. The role involves supporting project tasks, data management, field sampling preparation, and basic engineering calculations, with exposure to IAQ and IH

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety, Geology, Environmental Science or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 and strong communication skills.
• Solid technical and problem-solving abilities; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Support project tasks including regulatory requirements and estimates.
• Perform data entry, management, evaluation and presentation.
• Field assistance with groundwater, soil, and IAQ assessments.
• Oversee soil excavation and remediation-related tasks as needed.
• Assist with engineering calculations and design for various properties.
• Calibrate equipment and perform related duties.
