Job summary
JLG, an Oshkosh company, is seeking an Environmental Intern to support the Environmental team with compliance, waste reduction, process improvement, and operational efficiency in a manufacturing setting.
You will work alongside environmental and safety professionals on projects involving waste management, sampling, inspections, audits, and continuous improvement activities, gaining hands-on experience.
Qualifications
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the direct activities of our environmental & safety teams.
- Work with the environmental department to reduce cost and improve efficiency.
- Utilize value stream mapping to analyze and improve material flow and eliminate waste.
- Work with waste, sampling, paint logs, and water meters.
- Assist with audits and inspections.
