Job summary

Whitestone Associates, Inc. offers a summer internship running from May/June through August with flexible hours based on project needs.

The role: assist with Phase I ESAs, preliminary assessments, Phase II investigations, and due diligence reports for regulatory agencies. Candidates must be pursuing a B.S. in an environmental discipline, including Environmental Science, Geology, Geomechanics, or Chemical Engineering with an environmental concentration.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a B.S. degree in an environmental discipline to be considered.
  • Environmental science, geology, geomechanics or chemical engineering with an environmental focus may be relevant.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.
  • Assisting with Preliminary Assessments.
  • Assisting with Phase II Site Investigation/Remedial Investigations.
  • Assisting with due diligence reports and regulatory agency submittals.

Job description

Whitestone Associates, Inc. is a 100% employee-owned Geotechnical and Environmental consulting firm with offices throughout the eastern United States. This is a summer internship running from May/June through August, with flexible hours based on our project needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with Phase I Environmental Site Assessments;
  • Preliminary Assessments;
  • Phase II Site Investigation/Remedial Investigations; and
  • Assisting with due diligence reports and regulatory agency submittals.
Qualifications

Candidates must be pursuing a B.S. degree in an environmental discipline to be considered (Environmental Science, Geology, Geomechanics or Chemical Engineering with a concentration in Environmental Engineering).

Higher compensation than the amount listed below may be offered commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Hourly Pay Range: $20 USD - $22 USD
