Job summary

Stantec seeks an HSSE professional to coordinate the implementation of its HSSE program within the Environmental Services Business Operating Unit in the US. The role is based at a major US office in the Central or South region and reports to the Business Line HSSE Manager.

This is a full-time position aligned with geography requirements. Responsibilities include supporting project teams, tracking incidents, driving improvements, and coaching leadership on HSSE.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of health and safety experience.
• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety is a plus.
• Experience supporting remedial construction or field services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams in implementing HSSE procedures to deliver safe projects.
• Identify and lead process improvements aligned with strategic goals.
• Provide coaching to business line leadership on HSSE.
• Travel up to 20% and perform field assessments and site inspections.
• Maintain HSSE training and certifications.
