Position:

This role has holistic responsibility for ensuring safety compliance and driving safety culture at DrinkPAK. The EHS Manager will serve as a subject matter expert on safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements, including those from governmental agencies such as DOT, OSHA, NFPA, and EPA.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and implement safety programs, training, practices, and procedures to enhance safety culture.
• Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with regulations through collaboration with legal, safety, and HR teams.
• Identify hazards and evaluate risks to develop and implement EHS programs and best practices.
• Evaluate safety program effectiveness using KPIs and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate safety committee activities, review safety needs, and provide updates.
• Assist locations in compliance efforts, including testing, repairs, and upgrades.
• Develop strategic and tactical safety plans, monitor and audit effectiveness, and implement improvements.
• Train management to inspect facilities for hazards and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents, determine root causes, and recommend improvements.
• Manage safety supplies inventory and update SDS and SPCC plans.
• Serve as liaison with outside organizations and represent the company in safety-related matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental and Occupational Health or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5-10 years of EHS experience in manufacturing; Food & Beverage experience is a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA, DOT, NFPA, EPA regulations.
• Bilingual in English & Spanish preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and managerial skills.
• Understanding of manufacturing policies and practices.
• Ability to set and communicate long-term goals, motivate teams, and manage multiple efforts.
• OSHA 10- or 30-hour training preferred.
• Experience managing multi-site organizations and motivating teams.
• Self-motivated with strong business acumen and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to work actively on your feet, navigate stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs.
