Safety Manager
Earth Services & Abatement (ESA) is seeking a top-notch Safety Manager to join our team. ESA is the leading environmental remediation and demolition firm in the Midwest and Rocky Mountain regions, providing turnkey asbestos and lead abatement, demolition, and contaminated soil and water remediation to commercial, industrial, and government clients nationwide. In 2020, we were named a top 3 US abatement firm in Engineering News Record's for Asbestos Abatement.
The Safety Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of our safety program. This includes conducting on-site field safety inspections, creating and maintaining all company safety policies, procedures and implementing site specific safety plans that comply with OSHA, state and local government regulations. The Safety Manager will also be responsible for conducting employee training and refresher training programs as well as managing our DOT program.

While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, and stand for up to 8 hours. Reach with hands and arms, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee may be required to bend/stoop; kneel, crouch, crawl, climb ladders; and lift, carry, push, pull, up to 60 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus specific vision.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to wear PPE; may be exposed to hazardous materials; fumes or airborne particles when visiting job sites; regularly exposed to indoor and/or outdoor temperature fluctuations caused by equipment and/or outside weather conditions in addition to humidity. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The stress level in this position is considered moderate.
