Job summary

Antolin is seeking an EHS – Environmental Health & Safety Supervisor to lead our safety and environmental programs. You will develop and maintain standards, coordinate inspections, and drive continuous improvement in a multinational manufacturing setting.

Strong leadership and compliance knowledge are essential for this role. You will guide training, oversee hazard waste handling, PPE programs, and OSHA/EPA relations while ensuring alignment with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements across the

Qualifications

  • BS Degree in safety, environmental, ergonomics, business, HR, or related field.
  • 8–10 years of safety or HR experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain written safety and environmental standards aligned with OSHA and EPA.
  • Coordinate OSHA and EPA inspections and committee activities.
  • Lead accident investigations to identify root causes and corrective actions.
  • Orient new hires on Safety, Environmental, and Ergonomics topics.
  • Provide safety metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage hazardous and special waste storage, handling, and disposal.
  • Ensure PPE selection and fit testing.
  • Represent the Environmental Management System and ISO standards.

Mission:
  • Responsibility for insuring that all safety and environmental standards are maintained and in compliance with OSHA regulations, EPA regulations, and Company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain written safety and environmental standards, review and update annually to insure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company policies.
  • Coordinate inspections by OSHA, EPA, and all other representatives,
  • Coordinate meetings and activities of the Safety Committee.
  • Participate and conduct all accident investigations to find the root cause and develop necessary corrective actions.
  • Participate in orientation of new hires in the area of Safety, Environmental, and Ergonomics.
  • Provide and maintain statistics to assist in continuous improvement in the area of work place safety and loss control.
  • Coordinate all hazardous and special waste storage, handling, shipment, and disposal.
  • Provide input from a safety standpoint in the development stage of all-manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Coordinate the selection of personal protective equipment (PPE) and appropriate fit testing of such items.
  • Active involvement in Safety & Ergonomics Committees.
  • Attend necessary seminars and meetings of appropriate organizations to insure current knowledge of OSHA, EPA and other new governmental regulations.
  • Conduct necessary training sessions with regard to Safety, Environmental, and Ergonomic requirements.
  • Maintain applicable training records to insure compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
  • Any reasonable request deemed necessary by management,
  • Implementing, maintaining and communicating Company Environmental Policy.
  • Guaranteeing that the Environmental Management System requirements are established, implemented and updated according to ISO 14001 Standard.
  • Proposing and monitoring the environmental objectives established, coordinating the necessary activities to achieve them.
  • Managing environmental documentation.
  • Monitoring the functioning of the Environmental Management System to ensure that the records of all activities are carried out, as established.
  • Informing the Company Manager as well as Corporate Environmental Manager in GRUPO ANTOLIN about the Environmental Management System performance
  • Acting as representative over Environmental Management System.
  • Implement, maintain and communicate the OHS Company Policy.
  • Make sure that OHSMS requirements are established, implemented and are according to the ISO 45001 Standard requirements.
  • Propose and perform the monitoring for the established Objectives, coordinating the activities for its completion.
  • Manage the OHSMS documents.
  • Perform the monitoring for the OHSMS in order to guarantee the fact that all activity records are taken, as established.
  • Report about the performance of the OHSMS to the Company Management, as well as to the GRUPO ANTOLIN Corporate OHSM and to the workers’ representatives.
  • Carry out the activities which are delegated by the Company´s OHSM, always guaranteeing the health and safety of all the people in the organization and ensuring the compliance with all implementation requirements.
  • Act as the company permanent discussion partner with all the external services who develop any activity related to Occupational Health and Safety.
What we are looking for:
  • Educational requirements: BS Degree or equivalent degree in safety, environmental, ergonomics, business, human resources or a related field and/or
  • Eight to ten years’ experience in Safety or the Human Resources field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Must have strong leadership skills, must be able to lead by example and must promote a team approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and flexible.
  • Must be capable of working under pressure and with short completion times on projects and of working flexible hours in order to meet both internal and external customer requirements.
  • Sound knowledge of ISO-14001 and the ability to obtain and maintain the certifications necessary for the facility to meet all customer needs.
  • Sound knowledge of OSHA regulations, Workers’ Compensation and all safety related legislative requirements including ISO 45001.
  • Sound knowledge of all Federal and State Environmental regulations, Air Quality, Water, Hazardous Waste, Pollution Prevention, Sampling and all environmental related legislative requirements.
