Jabil is seeking an EHS Engineer to lead the Environmental, Health and Safety program at the Prince George, VA manufacturing facility, onsite startup supporting large form-factor equipment.
The role focuses on developing policies, performing risk assessments, supporting electrical safety and crane operations, and collaborating with engineering on new equipment. A BS in EHS or related field and 5+ years’ experience are required; certifications are preferred.
This role is onsite and the shift to start will be M-F, 8am-5pm.
This role is to support a new factory in Prince George, VA (onsite) startup manufacturing large form-factor equipment. The product will be large (shipping container size), heavy (50+ tons), and complex. This position will be part of the core factory startup and onboarding team responsible for building the operations and manufacturing staff, fitting out the building, and creating the process flow/work instructions/etc. from the ground up. Site to include: panel and point to point wire assembly, Medium Voltage, Low Voltage, and High Power Electronic assemblies.
The EHS Engineer will lead and continuously improve the Environmental, Health and Safety program for the Prince George, VA manufacturing facility. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and applicable standards while partnering with operations, engineering and maintenance teams to create a safe, environmentally responsible workplace. This role provides technical leadership in risk reduction, electrical safety, machine safety, overhead crane operations, and large form factor manufacturing environments.
The pay range for this role is $65,500 - $117,900. Job‑related, non‑discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
