Job summary

Jabil in Prince George, VA is hiring an EHS Technician for an onsite startup project to establish safe and compliant operations for a large form‑factor factory. The role involves building processes, work instructions, and training for the new facility.

The position requires 0–2+ years in manufacturing EHS, strong communication, and solid computer/reporting skills, with a shift 5am–5pm, rotating 12‑hour days. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills for building reports and using EHS software (EHSIP).
• 0-2+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Update and create EHS documents using various software.
• Maintain SDS/HazCom inventories, Accident Reports, and corrective actions.
• Provide or assist in environmental and safety training to personnel.
• Prepare reports for agencies and internal documentation.
• Maintain records required by agencies and company policy.
• Oversee PPE program and related documentation.
• Help develop new programs and procedures for EHS.
• Contribute to continual EHS department improvements.
• Oversee Ergonomics and Fire Safety programs.
• Assist with Emergency Response activities.
