Job summary

H in Houston is seeking a seasoned HSE Coordinator to implement environmental and safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and ISO 14001:2015 adherence across facilities. You will oversee wastewater treatment system operations, perform regular inspections, train employees, and coordinate with lab and maintenance teams on sampling and PRFs.

This role requires knowledge of OSHA 10, RCRA, DOT, and environmental health practices, with a focus on continuous improvement and incident prevention.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10-hour certification completed.
• Experience with ISO 14001 environmental management systems.
• Knowledge of RCRA, DOT, and EPA requirements.
• Experience overseeing wastewater treatment systems.
• Strong safety and environmental health knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Daily: conduct facility walkthroughs to ensure PPE compliance and identify hazards.
• Weekly: inspect eyewash stations, spill kits, and wastewater system upkeep; log data.
• Monthly: update ISO 14001 logs and training records; review emergency plans.
• Quarterly: support RCRA inspections; coordinate major maintenance and permit activities.
