Job summary

Atlas is seeking a Project Manager for its Building Sciences/Environmental Health team to oversee mold, asbestos, lead, and IAQ projects in New Jersey and the Tri-State Area. You will lead proposals, field execution, reporting, and client communications while ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with clients and regulators, and manage multiple projects simultaneously, traveling as needed. A strong background in environmental consulting is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science- or business-related field is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in Building Science, Industrial Hygiene, or environmental consulting.
• Experience supervising staff and project teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage mold, asbestos, lead, IAQ, industrial hygiene, and other Building Science projects across commercial, industrial, and institutional settings.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical support to team members at all levels.
• Oversee junior staff, subcontractors, and multiple projects while ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
• Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders.
• Develop project budgets, proposals, and reports while supporting QA/QC efforts.
