• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and four years of public health program management experience, including two years of supervisory experience.
• Alternatively, three years with Pima County in related management roles.
• Preferred Master’s degree in environmental health/public health or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic leadership in the design, development, and execution of public health programs and initiatives.
• Shapes program strategies based on needs assessments, research findings, and best practices.
• Collaborates with Senior Leadership to align programs with goals and priorities.
• Leads cross-functional teams in planning and executing programs, on time and within budget.
• Ensures effective execution of activities, including resource allocation and staff coordination.
• Monitors program expenditures, grant compliance, and financial performance.
• Identifies and secures grant funding to support sustainability and expansion.
• Fosters a collaborative, inclusive work environment encouraging innovation.
