EH&S Specialist (EH&S-S) will conduct hands-on assessments and evaluations on new and current employees throughout each classification. EH&S-S will perform safety observations, infield training, follow-ups, contribute to company policies and procedures, and travel within our service territory. They will meet with crews in the morning for tailboard safety talks, deliver safety messages, and complete necessary paperwork promptly. Responsibilities also include assisting in incident investigations and report writing. Candidates must have a proven track record of working safely and be knowledgeable about ANSI standards, OSHA, and client/customer regulations. Familiarity with technology (apps and programs on cell phones, computers, and tablets) is required.

Position Requirements

• CPR and First Aid certification (within 90 days of hire)
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification (or to be completed within 90 days of hire)
• CTSP certification (or to be completed within 6 months of hire)
• Completed foreperson test with a score of at least 70%
• Class C Driver’s license and eligibility to drive company vehicles
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience
• Minimum of 1 year performing work as a Qualified Line Clearance Tree Trimmer
• Qualifications may vary depending on customer requirements

Preferred Certifications

• Bilingual abilities
• ISA certification
• Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B)

This position requires travel.
