EH&S Specialist (EH&S-S) will conduct hands-on assessments and evaluations on new and current employees throughout each classification. EH&S-S will perform safety observations, infield training, follow-ups, contribute to company policies and procedures, and travel within our service territory. They will meet with crews in the morning for tailboard safety talks, deliver safety messages, and complete necessary paperwork promptly. Responsibilities also include assisting in incident investigations and report writing. Candidates must have a proven track record of working safely and be knowledgeable about ANSI standards, OSHA, and client/customer regulations. Familiarity with technology (apps and programs on cell phones, computers, and tablets) is required.
This position requires travel.
