As the Environmental, Health, and Safety ("EHS") Regulatory Manager within the Safety department, you will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of compliance programs to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal safety regulations. You will work cross-functionally to identify risks, drive continuous improvement, and maintain a culture of safety and accountability. What You Will Do

The EHS Regulatory Manager will oversee and ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and standards through effective policy development, monitoring, and enforcement. Job duties include:

  • Keep up to date with current an emerging regulatory changes and trends to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Manage submittal of all permit and regulatory required agency reports..
  • Direct overall EHS data analysis to identify trends, measure performance, and track progress toward targets.
  • Maintain and sustain EHS programs to meet or exceed Federal, National, State or Provincial regulatory requirements.
  • Support all government inspections and investigations at company locations
  • Report to management and authorities any company related EHS regulatory violations and maintain appropriate documentation.
  • Oversee all EHS related regulatory activity in cooperation with the Sr Director of EHS Programs and Legal to ensure liabilities are protected.
  • Train and educate on EHS regulatory matters at all levels.
  • Work with other functions and stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Initiate corrective actions through the EHS Team and Division Management as needed to ensure compliance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Your Must Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field.
  • 5 or more years of related EHS compliance experience.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of relevant regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, DOT, FMCSA, CCOHS) and industry standards.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Managed multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in EHS practices.

What We Prefer You Have

  • CSP, CHMM

Our Environment

This is a hybrid role, partially based at the Corporate Headquarters, combining time in a traditional office setting with remote work from your professional home office. You will be expected to work on-site at minimum three days a week. The position requires sitting for extended periods of time while working on a computer.
