Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - North Seattle is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead safety and environmental compliance at a metal finishing facility in Seattle. The role covers plating, anodizing, and non-destructive testing processes, with direct hire expectations.

You will establish and drive core safety programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a proactive safety culture across all departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• 5+ years of applicable EHS experience.
• Strong communication, computer, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to plan and implement EHS programs.
• Ability to work across all levels and departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead all EHS efforts at the facility: goal setting, compliance priorities, budgeting, and performance tracking.
• Manage core safety programs including Emergency Response, Fire Prevention, HazCom/GHS, RCRA, Hearing Conservation, Lockout/Tagout, PPE, Safety Committee, and EHS training.
• Coordinate environmental compliance: permitting, emissions control, hazardous waste management, and wastewater treatment.
• Oversee incident investigations from prompt reporting through root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Build a strong safety culture through employee engagement, internal communications, and training programs.
• Maintain records and data to satisfy regulatory requirements and internal quality audits.
• Lead and train the plant emergency management team.

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Pay: $90,000-$110,000/year DOE

Express Employment Professionals - North Seattle is recruiting an experienced EHS Manager for a well-established metal finishing company in Seattle. This is a direct hire opportunity to lead safety and environmental compliance at a facility working with plating, anodizing, and non-destructive testing processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead all EHS efforts at the facility:goal setting, compliance priorities, budgeting, and performance tracking
• Manage core safety programs including Emergency Response, Fire Prevention, HazCom/GHS, RCRA, Hearing Conservation, Lockout/Tagout, PPE, Safety Committee, and EHS training

Preferred Requirements
