An established industry player is seeking an experienced EHS professional to lead safety and environmental compliance across multiple facilities. In this pivotal role, you will implement programs that protect employees and mitigate risks while collaborating closely with plant management. Your expertise will drive safety initiatives, ensuring adherence to regulations and fostering a culture of safety. Leads safety, environmental compliance, and relationships with applicable Federal, State, and local contacts for multiple locations. Implements Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs that protect employees and reduce risk to the company in coordination with local management. Investigates accidents and employee complaints as necessary and partners with plant leadership to implement preventative measures.
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Environmental Engineering or related Science disciplines.
Minimum 5 years of EHS experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
