Job summary

TRUE Environmental is seeking a full-time Environmental Geologist to support field execution and office technical tasks on environmental investigation and remediation projects in California. The role involves coordination of field teams, subcontractors, and HASP compliance, with opportunities to work on complex regulatory projects.

You will collect multi-media samples, assist with remediation systems, and contribute to historical site research, data QA, and report drafting.

Qualifications

• BS in Geology or closely related field.
• Current 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification is highly preferred.
• Regulatory knowledge of California frameworks (DTSC, RWQCB) for sample collection & data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily field environmental operations and subcontractors following HASPs and project plans.
• Capture and manage field samples (soil, groundwater, soil gas, ambient air) and maintain logs per USCS/ASTM.
• Draft sections of routine deliverables and assist with data management and reporting.
