Job summary

Weaver Consultants Group seeks an entry-level Field Technician for our Frankfort, KY operations. This position involves extensive out-of-town assignments, long hotel stays, and travel expenses covered.

You will monitor landfill construction, conduct field/lab testing, and report findings with safety as a priority. Ideal candidates hold a HS Diploma (associates in related field preferred), can travel 50%+, have a valid driver’s license, and can lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required; related field preferred.
• Ability to travel out of town for project assignments at least 50% of the time.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varied climates and terrain.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document construction activities at landfill facilities, including field inspection and testing.
• Perform field and/or laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of materials.
• Communicate with project staff and client representatives regarding requirements and results.
• Prepare data and reports for daily transmittal to the Project Manager.
• Adhere to safety standards and follow safety rules on all projects.
• Monitor well/landfill gas probe installation and collect soil/groundwater samples.
