Job summary

SGS North America Inc. in Elko, NV is seeking an entry-level Field Services Technician to join the team. The role involves performing field analyses, sample pickup, and collecting environmental samples while adhering to health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift/carry/push and/or pull up to 50 lbs on a constant basis.

Responsibilities

• Collect soil, water, and wastewater samples from client sites following federal, state, and company guidelines.
• Travel to mine sites for sample pickup multiple times per week.
• Coordinate sample drop-offs with Reno laboratory.
• Perform field analyses in accordance with SOPs and document all sampling activities.
• Deliver collected samples back to the laboratory and provide excellent customer service.
