Job summary

Patriot Environmental Services, a premier environmental services provider in the Western United States, is seeking staff for emergency response cleanup and hazardous waste handling in Richmond, CA. The role emphasizes health and safety, physical labor, and adaptability to day and night shifts.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 40-hour HAZWOPER certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• HazWoper training or certification is required or preferred (40-hour).
• Valid driver’s license and DMV record must meet company standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the top priority and follow all safe work practices.
• Perform emergency response cleanup including chemical and water spills and hazardous waste handling.
• Sweep, dig, shovel, lift, pressure wash and handle drums to assist cleanup.
• Operate cleanup equipment used in hazardous waste activities.
• Follow procedures for control and storage of hazardous substances.
• Attend safety training as required.
• Respond to 24/7 emergency calls when on standby.
• Work long hours, including day, night, or weekend shifts.
