Job summary

Patriot Environmental Services is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Technician to join our team in the United States. You will participate in emergency cleanups, hazardous waste handling, and facility support, operating cleanup equipment and adhering to safety protocols.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 40-hour HAZWOPER certification, and a valid driver’s license. Expect flexible shifts, OT, and a physically demanding environment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Some environmental services experience preferred.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority and follow safe work practices.
• Perform emergency response cleanup including chemical and water spills and waste handling.
• Sweep, dig, lift, and assist in cleanup activities.
• Operate cleanup equipment used in hazardous waste activities.
• Follow procedures for storage of hazardous substances.
• Attend safety training as required.
• Respond to 24/7 Emergency Response calls when on standby.
• Work long hours and overtime as needed.
