Sovereign Consulting Inc., a rapidly growing environmental consulting and remediation firm headquartered in Robbinsville, NJ, is seeking Environmental Technicians (0-3 years experience) for its Robbinsville, NJ location.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform groundwater-sampling duties at various Sovereign project locations;
2. Complete well development activities;
3. Record field notes for each specific task performed;
4. Maintain equipment calibration logs;
5. Perform general labor and maintenance activities;
6. Handle other related duties assigned;
7. Adhere to Sovereign Consulting Inc. Health & Safety Standards in all field-related activities.

Requirements:

1. High School diploma or equivalent;
2. 0-3+ years of related fieldwork experience; previous experience in environmental consulting is a plus;
3. Knowledge of NJDEP Field Sampling Procedures Manual, especially groundwater sampling techniques;
4. OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (training available for the right candidate);
5. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and ability to operate a company vehicle.

Employment is contingent upon passing drug & alcohol screening, a pre-placement medical evaluation, and background check. Candidates must provide documentation verifying identity and employment eligibility in the U.S.
