Job summary

Arcadis U.S.Inc. is seeking a field-leaning environmental professional to support Project Managers and Task Managers in planning and executing environmental site characterization, investigation, and remediation tasks in North Carolina.

The role includes hands-on fieldwork, data interpretation, report writing, and coordination of subcontractors, with extensive travel and a strong emphasis on health and safety.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
• Experience with NCDEQ regulations and SOPs.
• Current OSHA HAZWOPER 40 HR / 8 HR training.
• 1 year of field experience preferred.
• Valid driver''s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist PMs and TMs in planning and executing site characterization, investigation, and remediation tasks.
• Write and prepare technical reports, work plans, letters, and memoranda.
• Conduct field sampling (soil, groundwater, vapor) and oversee subcontractor tasks.
• Travel up to 4–5 days per week; occasional U.S. travel for up to two weeks.
• Ensure health and safety compliance on field activities.
