Job summary

Arcadis in Raleigh, North Carolina, seeks a candidate to assist Project Managers in planning and executing environmental site characterization, investigation and remediation tasks. Fieldwork includes soil and groundwater sampling, drilling oversight for soil sampling and groundwater wells, with training provided.

Responsibilities include writing reports and planning, data interpretation, cost estimates, health and safety plan prep, and subcontract management.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology or related field.
• Experience with NCDEQ environmental regulations and SOPs is preferred.
• OSHA HAZWOPER 40 HR / 8 HR training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist PMs and TMs in planning and executing environmental site characterization, investigation and remediation tasks.
• Conduct fieldwork including soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling with NCDEQ SOPs; regional travel up to 4–5 days per week, possible longer trips within the U.S.
