Entry-Level Environmental Field Scientist Overview

We provide comprehensive environmental services to support our clients and protect the environment. In this role, you will gain exposure to various industrial processes and travel to customer sites within your region, with all expenses paid. The work is outdoors, often at elevated heights, so a love for outdoor work is essential.

Starting pay ranges from $19 to $25 per hour, depending on location, with quarterly profit-sharing bonuses, overtime, benefits, PTO, and referral bonuses.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct Stack Emissions Testing: equipment setup, deployment, sample collection, and recovery.
  • Follow test methods and procedures for quality assurance.
  • Troubleshoot testing systems using mechanical and electrical skills.
  • Handle sampling, staging, deployment, and equipment prep.
Qualifications
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Enjoy outdoor work in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders, work at heights (50-400 ft).
  • Degree in environmental, engineering, or mechanical sciences preferred.
  • Experience in environmental response, mechanical, construction, or electrical work is a plus.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe products.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and use tools requiring dexterity.
  • Color discrimination for safety purposes.
