An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Care Manager to support early childhood mental health services. This role involves overseeing care plans, coordinating with healthcare providers, and ensuring high-quality service delivery for children aged 0-5 years. You will be responsible for authorizing mental health services, conducting clinical reviews, and advocating for patient needs. Ideal candidates will have relevant licensure and experience in behavioral health settings. A coordinated state-wide program providing screening, evaluation, referral services, and treatment for children ages 0 through 5 years and their families. This is a new contract in its first year, supporting mental health services for infants 0-5 years in Louisiana. The Care Manager will review and evaluate assessments and Plans of Care to ensure high standards of care and quality. Candidates should be licensed LPC, LMFT in Louisiana with experience in early childhood mental health or other child-serving systems.
Licensure is required, including CEAP, LMSW, LCSW, LSW, LPC, or RN, with necessary degrees. Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare, behavioral health, psychiatric, or substance abuse settings. Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills. Knowledge of utilization management, community resources, DSM V, and ability to analyze and implement solutions.
