Job summary

Cliff Berry, Inc. is seeking an experienced Environment Staff Scientist for our Fort Lauderdale location to support the service center operations.

The role combines administrative duties, SAP management, technical report writing, and field service coordination to ensure project success while prioritizing health and safety. You will prepare field reports, create job packets in SAP, manage invoicing, coordinate with customers and the Senior Geologist, and assist with business development efforts.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering or 2–4 years of environmental field services experience.
Minimum three (3) years previous supervisory experience and field experience.
Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Ensure health and safety protocols are followed at all times.
Assist in expansion of services and business development with the Senior Geologist.
Prepare comprehensive field reports documenting project activities, findings, and recommendations.
Create job packets in SAP, including invoicing and billing processes; monitor dailies and communicate changes.
Field and direct incoming calls from customers and employees; provide regular reports to the Senior Geologist.
Perform administrative tasks including creating purchase orders, scheduling pick-ups and deliveries.
Coordinate with customers to ensure timely payment and proper extension of credit; assist with collections as needed.
Be available to extend scheduled working hours for emergencies and after-hours coverage.
