Job summary

Cliff Berry, Inc. is seeking an Environment Staff Scientist in Fort Lauderdale to execute and support field environmental services. You will collect samples, document fieldwork, supervise activities, and prepare reports for regulatory compliance while representing the company to customers.

Applicants should have a science or engineering background and be comfortable working in demanding environments. On-call shifts and spill-response tasks may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering required or 2–4 years in environmental field services.
• Experience with SAP and customer service processes preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety protocols are adhered to at all times.
• Field services for environmental projects including sample collection and supervision.
• Manage project execution from request to completion and report preparation for compliance.
• Work with Corporate Accounting software for Project Management.
• On-call for emergency response activities and after-hours duties.
• Manage project execution related to spill response as needed.
• Produce technical writing for jobs in progress to completion.
• Provide scientific guidance to clients and interpret data from various sources.
