Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Anchorage, Alaska is seeking an Environmental Engineer to handle field assignments and office work related to contaminated site characterization. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, strong knowledge of environmental regulations, and at least 5-8 years of relevant experience. Qualifications

• Ability to pass background checks for security access.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience for Level-III position.
• 8+ years of relevant experience for Senior position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field assignments related to contaminated site characterization.
• Prepare planning and reporting documents.
• Oversight of groundwater monitoring well installation.
• Design and operation of remediation systems.

Skills

Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to explain technical aspects of fieldwork

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
