Job summary

Basin Electric/Dakota Gasification in Beulah, ND is offering a summer internship in Environmental Engineering for 2027. You will support groundwater sampling, data entry, and reporting with hands-on tasks across the Environmental Department.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ABET-accredited engineering program and maintaining GPA 2.5 or higher.
• Summer internship with engineering exposure and hands-on tasks.
• Valid driver's license and ability to commute to Beulah, ND.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting groundwater monitoring or environmental samples.
• Enter data and analyze environmental sampling results.
• Conduct regular inspections of Environmental Department facilities.
• Develop reports based on drawings and records, as requested.
• Assist in monitoring environmental compliance and spill response.
• Help draft environmental monthly, quarterly or annual reports.
• Learn about environmental regulations and laws.
• Assist with other functions such as event coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
