Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Progressive experience in environmental engineering, manufacturing, operations, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex projects or processes with limited supervision.
• Proven experience with SOP development, revision, standardization, or redesign.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven problem solving.
• Experience identifying and implementing automation or technology-driven process improvements.
• Experience coaching and mentoring junior professionals.
• Strong operational planning and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale projects and processes of complex scope with limited oversight from management.
• Develop, manage, and implement projects within assigned areas of responsibility.
• Assist with the development and execution of operational plans.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, process optimization, and automation.
• Conduct detailed analyses and use findings to develop recommendations to improve operational performance.
• Review, revise, and redesign SOPs when necessary.
• Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve processes and operational efficiency.
• Coach, mentor, review, and delegate work to junior-level professionals.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to achieve project and operational objectives.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships through effective communication and negotiation.
• Evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, compliance, and productivity.
• Monitor project progress, identify challenges, and implement solutions.
• Support organizational initiatives related to environmental performance and continuous improvement.
