Job summary

KLA Industries, Inc. in Muskegon, MI is seeking an Environmental Specialist to join our site EHS team.

The role focuses on managing environmental issues, regulatory reports and permits with emphasis on water/wastewater/stormwater compliance or waste/SPCC/chemical management. The position will support environmental compliance activities for a large, union manufacturing plant and report to the Plant EHS Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of plant environmental experience.
• Bachelor of Science in related technical field required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain processes and systems to ensure compliance with permits and regulation.
• Coach and mentor line personnel in the execution of their environmental accountabilities.
• Compile and submit required environmental reports to Federal, State and Local Regulatory Agencies.
• Coordinates all Environmental sampling, reporting and follow-up;
• Preparation and submission of required reports and associated recordkeeping.

Position will be a member of the site EHS team, report into the Plant EHS Manager and support environmental compliance activities for a large, union manufacturing plant.
