Job summary

Ahlstrom is seeking an Environmental Engineer Intern to join our team at the Kaukauna, WI site during the summer of 2027. This hands-on internship provides experience in environmental compliance, wastewater treatment operations, and data-driven performance improvements within a complex manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Rising student planning to return to school after internship.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated Environmental Engineer Internto join our team during the summer of 2027. This position provides hands‑on experience in environmental compliance, sustainability initiatives, wastewater treatment operations, air emissions management, and environmental performance improvement within a complex manufacturing environment.

Pay Rate

• $27.00 per hour
• Housing stipend available for qualified candidates relocating to the Kaukauna area for the duration of the internship or co‑op assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with environmental compliance activities related to air, water, waste, and wastewater permits.
• Support data collection, analysis, and reporting for regulatory and internal environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Rising sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student with plans to return to school following the internship.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
