Job summary

CDM Smith in Irvine, CA is seeking an entry‑level Environmental Engineer to join our Water Services Group. You will support the design and implementation of water and wastewater facilities, pipelines, and related infrastructure, applying your civil, environmental, or chemical engineering knowledge under supervision.

Responsibilities include site assessments, parameter adjustments, water quality analyses and modelling, technical reports, and presentations for client meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• 1 year of related experience (preferred).
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required (up to 10%).

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and implementing water and wastewater facilities, pipelines and related infrastructure.
• Perform site assessments and adjust design parameters as needed.
• Conduct water quality analyses and modelling, and contribute to technical reports and client presentations.
