Vanasse Hangen Brustlin Inc. is seeking an Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Hydrogeologist with 3+ years of experience to join our National SI&R practice.

The role blends office and field work, with opportunities to contribute to Phase I/II assessments, remedial design, and regulatory closure across multiple jurisdictions. The position offers hybrid work flexibility, with offices in New York City and throughout New England.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in environmental site investigation, characterization, and/or remediation.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training and current refresher training required.
• FE/Geologist (FE/FG) registration or PE/PG licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers in evaluating environmental conditions and remediation needs.
• Plan and conduct site investigation and remediation field activities with guidance from senior staff.
• Coordinate field tasks with subcontractors and manage health and safety requirements.
