Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Mid-Level Environmental Engineer/Geologist/Scientist to advance environmental site characterization and remediation projects for government and private clients. You will split time between fieldwork (about 50%) and office analysis, mentoring staff, and coordinating subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, or closely related field.
• 5–10 years of professional experience in environmental site characterization and remediation.
• Experience overseeing subcontractors on project sites.
• Experience leading teams toward a common goal.
• 40-hr HAZWOPER certification or ability to attain it.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage field projects.
• Collaborate and coordinate work with subcontractors and internal staff.
• Analyze data, prepare technical reports, and design pilot studies/remedial systems.
• Provide mentorship and growth opportunities to project teams.
