Job summary

Responsibilities

• Interprets/Develops environmental policies and guides implementation; advises managers and monitors conformance.
• Designs/reviews engineering designs and cost estimates for environmental equipment/systems; specifies requirements.
• Investigates current environmental issues; identifies causes and communicates with senior management.
• Monitors compliance with policies; prepares reports and recommends improvements.
• Keeps abreast of environmental laws/regulations; conducts impact assessments and obtains permits.
