Job summary

The University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science seeks an Environmental Digital Program Coordinator to support environmental education, digital learning, and professional development through project coordination, content development, and multimedia production.

You will manage multiple small digital initiatives, administer EDGE and edX platforms, ensure WCAG accessibility, and collaborate with educators, researchers, and administrators to translate science into engaging online content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least 1 year of professional administrative or coordinator experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple small projects with timelines and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain environmental content for digital courses and resources.
• Administer EDGE, edX, and credential platforms; manage enrollments and WCAG edits.
• Ensure accessibility compliance across digital content.
• Produce multimedia content and conduct educator interviews.
• Coordinate Maryland State Department of Education professional development for teachers.
• Engage with educators and stakeholders to promote programs.
• Support institutional initiatives and student programs.
